The NFL announced this year's inductees into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, a class that includes former player and current broadcaster for the Seahawks, Warren Moon.
Also elected were Reggie White, Harry Carson, John Madden and Rayfield Wright. Most notably by his absence is ESPN Baffoon and part time drug addict Michael "Play Maker" Irvin, which is just more evidence of the existance of Karma!
Congratulations, Warren. Even though you were with this team for a just few years at the end of your career, it's good to have another Seahawk enshrined in Canton.

I think he will go in as an Oiler, BUT he is still with our team broadcasting, so maybe that sways his vote
Hmmm...would be nice for him to go in as a Seahawk just to give us more prestige...then again, there are a few players I feel deserve to get in (Krieg, Tez, Easley for sure)...but prolly wont
Glad to see the 'underdogs' are having their way this year...lets face it, though he should of gotten in, it was a surprise he was a first ballot
ADP - the Football HOF is different than baseball. Players don't "go in" as affiliated with any one team, they go in as themselves and their entire body of work.
ReplyDeleteThat's why if you look at a listing of HOFers by team, you'll see Franco Harris listed as a Seahawk as well as a Steeler.
Wonder who *HE* is rooting for tomorrow??!

He said in an interview yesterday that he is rooting for the Steelers, but he would be very proud and happy for the 'Hawks if they won because he liked the city so much while he was here.

Warren is great and deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. This is great for him and the Seattle Seahawks and the fan base. I was super happy when i reaad that today. CONGRATS WARREN
