old sKool

Welcome to Citizen K's exhibit of pre-pubescent whoring to the Seattle Seahawks! (Don't worry--it's all legal. Well, most of it...) Early memories of Seahawks fandom are precious to most of us, I'd wager. Why not share them? Read Citizen K's Treasured Memories at Citizen K Likes This.

  1. CitK - losing the Super Bowl must have been cathartic for us fans. You're posting hand crafted artifacts and the corresponding personal stories, and me revealing my true identity and posting pictures of myself and my kids at Qwest field.

This is the first off season where I can remember thinking "way until next year" and really BELIEVING it!

A lot has to do with this blogs and the other fans like yourself who I've gotten to "know" on-line.

  2. 1992, 12 years old, my ear against the speaker in my parents house listening to the 'Hawks beat the Pats (since they were obviously not selling out their games that year, and I lived in Gig Harbor, so it was in the black out zone) to give them the tie breaker and eventually the second overall draft pick that they used on Rick Mirer. Now, I've seen them in the Super bowl.

And fuck Ron Harper for picking that ball off against SD in our 2nd win of the season. We should have had Bledsoe.

    Its been real.

    Peace.
