Shaun Alexander + Madden 2007 Cover = UH OH

Say it isn't so.

Tonight at 6:00pm EST, ESPN will announce live on SportsCenter the Madden NFL 07 Cover Athlete. Specualtions abound, but Shaun Alexander is a heavy favorite in fan polls.

Crap.

Crap, crap, crap.

I have my own idea of who I think the 'recipient of doom' should be, but I have a feeling Bill Leavey is already cursed beyond belief.

I also never truly believe in the curse thing, but this one has me worried. If Alexander goes down with a bone sticking out, I'm boycotting Madden for life.

    I was thinking it would be Big Ben, but then someone on the PI site hit it right on the nose....THE MANNING BROS.

    Who does the NFL love more than those two, plus it coveres the NYC East Coast bias!

    I didn't want Alexander on the cover and when i heard it i hollered nooooooooooooooooooo. But oh well time to prove this curse thing wrong. Hey atleast now people know who he is.

    I think that the curse is a load of shit, and I think Alexander will be just fine. You watch, his most productive season yet is coming up!
