The Lofa Perspective

Day 5 (8/4)
CHENEY, Wash. - It happened this morning on a pass drill. I tried to go under and I felt a tweak in my hamstring...

  1. Man I gotta keep up, I can't believe I missed this. This has to go into the Lofa site.

I love hearing his desire to take a leadership role, he is just the right guy to do it too. Soon, very soon, I predict that Lofa Tatupu will be a crowd favorite and his jersey will be a top seller for Hawks fans.

  3. Great graphic and headline. Seems to be a lot of hammy tweaking going on in camp this year. First Shaun, then Lofa. Let's hope it's not a bellweather of things to come.

  4. What I can do is help out my other rookies Corn (Cornelius Wortham) and LeRoy (Hill). Keep ‘em up, pat ‘em on the helmet. Talk to them. Do anything to help the team at this point.

I hope all those nay-sayers still bitching about trading up to take this kid will read this and understand that you can't judge a players heart on stats.

  5. I think there are always hamstring "tweaks" in camp that get guys a little rest. Usually WRs and CBs are the only guys who couldn't play in a game with a hammy tweak, when anybody else gets 'em they could play if need be. Plus it does sound like they are going full speed and its pretty early. Maybe the coaches like the full speed, even though it causes dings and tweaks, but they'll let the boys rest a little more when they get hurt. That is a little different approach than normal, but we could use a little different result than normal too.
