And now for an actual football related topic...
He never bit the recess lady's breast, but he did manage to torture coaches and fans for the last three years with his off-the-field problems and a general failure to meet the expectations that come with being a #1 draft pick (as a tight end, no less).
I've got a great feeling about him this season, but it's not anything I haven't heard before. Once again, he is dazzling spectators and writers in camp, but he didn't inherit the "Mr. August" tag for nothing.
But this year DOES seem different. Check out these three different features, and let me know what you think:
Mike Sando: Stevens steady – and spectacular
Scott M. Johnson: Mr. August rides again?
Dave "Softy" Mahler: KJR Interview
let's hope Jerramy blossoms it as big a factor for the Seahawks like the original and former "Mr. August", Matt Hasselbeck.
ReplyDeleteWhooot whoooooooooooot. I think he is pretty serious about it now, I really like him to have a breakout season.
ReplyDelete"He never bit the recess lady's breast. "
Conjecture, you don't know he didn't.

hopefully after this season, we can all say: "Jerramy has spoken, his way"
ReplyDeleteJust to toot my own horn, I actually went out on a limb a while back and predicted that he would be the biggest improvement on this entire team this season.
ReplyDeleteHis attitude chan ged when he quit drinking, nuff said.
don't worry, check...THINKING you're cool is the next best thing to BEING cool! :-)
