"Boulware worked for three days at Rod Woodson's football camp in Fort Wayne, Ind., but he may have gotten more out of it than the kids."

  4. thanks, we work hard on it every day...its growing pretty fast...welcome to the site, im a Mariner fan first, with the Seahawks/Sonics right behind (Ken Griffey Jr. was everything to me growing up)

i dunno what im more excited about King Felix or the upcoming Seahawks season...the secondary looks great, but i disagree with Dr. Z or whatever his name is...they aren't the key---they will be fine, its the guys in front of them that are key...if they dont collpase the pocket more and hurry the QB more consistently, the secondary will be running around trying do everything at once

though we are healthy so far, and if the team stays healthy, we'll be fine in EVERY category...could you imagine how tired Ken Hamlin was come playoff time? He played EVERY SINGLE SNAP last season, and since our dline was injured and screwed up all year...the secondary had to make up for it...Hamlin just played two seasons of his career in one year

  5. from the linked article, "An NFL safety for 17 years, Woodson... taught Boulware how to pick up play-calling tendencies on film and emphasized keeping the game simple: Offenses actually run only six formations"

Its that kind of experience that we lack, and its great that young Mike had a chance to hang out with one of the greats at his position and learn stuff like this. I am seeing top 10 D finish this year. I know its optimistic, but the talent is there, the scheme is there, and possibly the depth is there. I have trouble finding the weakness, other than experience.

That combined with a top 10 O, and you are looking at what should be a deep run into the playoffs.

  6. Bluefoot, I didn't mean to imply that I wouldn't put it on my adotp site, I will....just that I should have seen it first, but darn this school stuff has me so bogged own right now. It's really bugging me that I cannot put the time in here I would like to put in. Hopefully things will slow up a bit for me soon. BEtween school and my monster HOGGING the computer all the time, it's been tuff.
