Dawn Of Tomorrow
Something is in the air. Not only the atmosphere, but literally Seahawks...swooping around the nfl...they have arrived.
Look at what Sando has said:
Wow, you would not believe the feeling in that locker room after the game. It’s probably a good thing they have a week off to get their bearings again (and get healthier). Dallas dominated this game in many ways. To see the Seahawks hang in there and come up with some huge plays to win in that fashion … it’s the type of victory that can put a team over the top. I know that sounds clichĂ©, but the camaraderie in that locker room is why guys have a hard time retiring. I’ve never seen anything like it in a Seattle locker room during seven-plus seasons covering this team. I’m going to get working now, but I’ll check back later.
Thats incredible to hear...we all knew we deserved a game like this, going OUR way for once...the feeling is unbelieveable, in the battle of the top two NFC teams, in a defensive battle with a defensive specialist team, who crippled our offense all day...the fight continued, until the Seahawks arrived...swooped down, and picked off their prey...leaving the remainder of the NFL on the lookout...
My friends...The Seahawks Have Arrived, and they brought new wings, a new atmosphere, and a new dawn...the Dawn Of Tomorrow...

Gentlemen, I was unable to see the game, and relied on text messages to let me know how the game went. I was on pins and needles the entire time. I was not disappointed. Great win. Just a great win.

I had an idea of setting up a second Yahoo group thing and have us post game highlights to it during the game, so folks could subcribe their cell phones to it and get text updates on the games from a fan's perspective. Would anyone be interested in that?

I would and I wouldn't. Text messages get spendy sometimes.

I haven't been this happy and hopeful about the Seahawks in 20 years. This team, emphasis on the TEAM - is proving it can win the games it SHOULD win, the tough defensive struggles, the ratfights against contenders.
ReplyDeleteDAMN I LOVE THIS TEAM
(St. Loser fans, eat your heart out. BTW, it looks like the refs had to gift wrap a win for you against the homeless s-aints. Nice job.)

ESPN's Eric Allen:
ReplyDelete"There have been three games this season in which the Seahawks have proven they've turned around from last season. The first was against the Falcons, when they held onto victory; the second was against the Rams, which is a team they have many emotional scars from playing; and this Cowboys game was the third. This was a game where they were out of it for the better part of the contest, but the team held on and still found a way to win. Good teams find ways to win these types of games and the 'Hawks are officially one of those good teams."
Good times.

I jsut read what the 'Boys said after the game in Clayton's article (thanks Alba). Sounds an awfull lot like what we read from our guys after several games last year. Football games aren't 58 minutes, they are 60. Cowboys can cry all they want about how they domintated and let the game get away. If the shoe was on the other foot, theyd be saying how their defense held on until they could score enought to win. Friggin cry babies!

I couldn't believe it when I saw Josh running out for the kick. I just assumed they go to OT. The three Cowgirls fans in front of us were in mid gloat when the INT happened. The Hawk's Nest went nuts! The second the ball was snapped I knew it was good! Then the Hawk's Next really went nuts! People wouldn't leave their seats. People were just screaming and jumping. It was AMAZING! Even the walk down Occidental was nuts. It reminded me of walking down the ramps of the Kingdome after a Raiders win.

so, if I'm reading this correctly, the three Cowgirl fans in front of you must have been "Occidental Tourists"??!!
ReplyDelete(thank you and good night now!)
