Moonlight Graham Award

In terms of Moonlight, this game was a total eclipse for 3-and-a-half quarters.

Instead of a player or two stepping out of obscurity, the league's number one offense seemed to be slipping into it, and the Seahawks seemed poised to once again give away an important game, at home, and with the national media finally getting behind them again.

  2. Great post, I agree with you on Hackett, I too felt Hass was a little off today. Very talented defenses can do that to a QB. Let's hope this is a turning point. I think last years team woul have lost two of our past three games!

Here's where I apologize to Rhodes again. Since I came on here and blasted him after the Washington game, I have been pleased with the defense. Even in giving up 31 to the Rams, I thought they played well. The last two weeks they've been lights out. Man I hope it's a trend.

  3. I still think we're seeing a combined effect on defense. Combining our LB coach being more involved in running the D, bringing in a new perspective, along with some young bucks lookin' to prove something, this defense is actually pretty decent. We were 13th in total D coming in, and will likely move up.

I'm still jacked about what this kind of win could mean for the 'Hawks. They may be over the hump now, and we may really be onto something....

  4. Next money due to be exfoliated from our backs is winning after the bye week. That ties into Alba's key to getting to the playoffs.

    1. Win ALL Divisional games. So far, Seahawks are 2-0 in this venture, and our next divisional game is after the bye.

    2. Win ALL the games you SHOULD. The Houston game fits this mold. So do the Washington, Dallas and Atlanta games. Here we're 3-1

    3. Win at least HALF of the toss up games, or games the opponent is favored. Here we're 0-1, with the opening day loss to the Jags.

We have a good shot at winning all six Divisional Games, with the game-after-bye with the Cards, and Mutton Bowl II being our biggest challenges. This also includes two games with the 49-ers that we SHOULD win. (see point #2)

With the way they're playing, I'm putting the Titans and Green Bay also in the SHOULD win games.

That leaves the Colts, Giants and Eagles as Toss up games. With two at home, we should go 2-1 in these games, which keeps us within Goal #3.

By this equasion, a first round bye is not out of the question.

  6. Skimmer + Spell Checker = Politically Incorrect Replacements

I thought I was clicking IGNORE in the spell checker, when in fact I was clicking REPLACE. The nearest english word for Babineux unfortunately is Baboon.

    No disrespect intended!
