R-E-S-P-E-C-T

From NFL.com and Rich Eisen...

The Seahawks receivers are actually catching the football: And they're doing it by committee. With leading receivers Bobby Engram and Darrell Jackson out for the time being (and yet still on pace to top last year's totals), Matt Hasselbeck still hit six different receivers in the Sunday night win. Many of you, however, will scoff, saying any passing offense can look like a well-oiled machine against the Houston Texans these days. But, the week before, Hasselbeck hit eight different receivers in beating St. Louis. It's time to recognize: Seattle's receiving corps has been stringing together a few solid outings in a row, led by the resurgent Joe Jurevicius, whose four receiving touchdowns in six games would have been good enough for second most on the team all of last season. Even Bengals outcast Peter Warrick got into the act Sunday night. Plus, the corps includes two guys named Jeremy who don't even come close to spelling their names that way: receiver Jerheme Urban and tight end Jerramy Stevens. Any way you slice it, it's all adding up to one phat (which is how Jerheme's parents spell it) Pro Bowl season in the making for Hasselbeck, who's hitting on (an unheard of in Seattle) 66 percent of his passes. Once again, the NFC West is Seattle's division to lose.

  1. At least Rich has his head on his shoulders. This is the type of analysis you can get when your not an ex-player or coach with a predetermined bias.

  2. this is the kind of stuff i want...

everyone thinks Seattle fans want to hear 'best team ever'...all we want is a little credit for some of things other teams get, blown out of proportion at that...

that wasnt so hard, now was it?

  7. definitely not...

i just hate it when people say we only like it when its something good about us (isnt that the normal human way, as it is?)...but its not like we expect the world...just a little bit of recognition when we accomplish something

in this one guys article, he clearly didnt watch the Colts game...said their defense stuffed the Rams offense in the 2nd half...they did, but only cause Bulger went down...otherwise, the Rams would of have at least 35 points on them...I hate them to death, but their offense is dangerous...

and a note on that...Bulger may be out for a few weeks, and might miss our game...;)

  8. Mad props for Rich correctly identifing us as the most diverse Jeremy team in all the land too. Well done Bok and alba on the Scott bashing. Don't hate the player, just hate his game .

  9. Glad to see I'm not the only one who is annoyed by Mr Stuey Scott. Anytime I want to annoy my friends I just launch into some Stuisms like "He must be butter cause he's on a roll".

Oh yeah, and also good to get some props finally. Hopefully we keep it going. We owe the Cowboys a beating for last year as well.

  10. It is good to see the Seahwaks finally getting some positive press. And gee, all it took was for them to be the #1 ranked offense in the league for a couple of weeks to get it!

At this pace, if we win 2 or 3 superbowls in a row, ESPN might actually start showing Seahawks recaps in the first half of the show!
