That's a Wrap!

The Seahawks wrap up training camp today, and there's a closing interview on Seahawks.com with Coach Holmgren. He doesn't say much other than it was a good camp, the guys worked hard, and he likes being in Cheney.

There's also a good video interview with Marcus Trufant.

Looking forward to the MNF game, the final preseason games, and for getting this season kicked off already!

  1. cant wait to whip Dallas, my best friend's favorite team

he tortured me last year, after the refs screwed the crap out of us...and he played dumb like it didnt happen, and we just weren't better

  3. It's a decent article, and not to make excuses, but it sounds like our defensive STARTERS dropped to 26th, when most of them were in the training room getting treatment all season.

It's good to see a common theme being talked about by all the players. Everyone seems to agree that LAST season was a mess, and that the off season moves definitely excised the cancer. Now we need to watch it come to fruition on the playing field.

Yes, YES, much like the Saints were hell-bent on beating the Patriots, even if it was their 3rd team, we MUST BEAT DALLAS LIKE THE RENTED MULE THEY ARE!

You know all the announcers will be talking about are the glory days of Parcells and Bledsoe, the coming of age of Drew Henson, and what a young stud Julius Jones is.

If we get mentioned at all, it will be for the Rams collapse, the dropped passes, the K-Rob thing, and that our best "name" defender is now with the Patriots. Mark my words.

At least I won't have to listen to that bumbling fool John Madden drool over what a great player Bret Farve is, even though the Packers aren't even playing!

  4. my calling it a decent article is referring to the fact that he didnt make a smart-ellic comment towards us

    and finally didnt bash us

the fact that he pointed out Darby was what i was most impressed with...i figured noone outside of Seattle knows how important he is

  5. Well ADP, you know that Clayton is based in Seattle, right?

And alba, don't be so sure that Madden won't mention Favre. With Holmgren and Hasslebeck, he has an obvious segue.

  7. Pavillion...won't it be hard for Madden to mention Farve on MNF now that he's doing games for CBS??!!

  8. It will next season, he's still with ABC this season. But he'll pass the torch on to some of the ESPN guys. Favre worship in Bristol is second only to Red Sox worship.

  9. Crap! I thought that was all taking place THIS season. Oh well, I gotta drive down to Jersey Mon. night for a golf tournament on Tues. so I probably won't hear him blubbering on anyway.

  10. So much Favre envy, I love it! :D

Brett's the man, no QB will ever touch his iron man record, no one! Very few players period! ;D
