Week 2 Knock Out Pool

Since this is Week 2, I thought it appropriate to provide a picture of a pair of pugelistic pretties!

Most of this contenders were sweating out Week 1, as they watched the Bills and Lions put up game efforts against more talented opponents. The week was not without it's casualties, however, as ten players took the proverbial 8-count and could not rise to answer the bell. Stick around fellas, we may rerun this thing later in the season.

There are still 32 contenders remaining, sort of like the NFL, but as we all know too well, there can only be ONE winner, so get your picks in ASAP.

Your pick must be submitted the day before the game, and if you don't submit a pick for a week you will be DQed. To submit your pick, either post it in the Comments section, or email me at albanyhawker@seahawkblue.com. I will post the picks in the Contenders link, along with the teams used each week.

Good luck!

  4. hey, YOU go on the internet and find documented BABES duking it out! For my money, both can be easily identified as women, weigh less than me, and are under 30, which are the Alba qualifications for being hot!

  12. MAN - maybe it's the washboard abs or the cute nose on the one on the left, but I didn't think this picture was so bad. I guess everyone's a critic!

  13. They weren't my type, but they weren't that bad either...everyones got their own taste I guess.

This week there are way too many no brainer picks, Hawks over Cards, Baltimore over Gayders, Colts over Texans, all of those will happen for sure.

I guess I'll go with the Colts to win, I won't pick Texans to lose, because they will be doing so much of that this year, need to save some for later.

  14. Monkey, by picking the Colts to win, you're also pickng the Texans to lose.

  16. Call me crazy, but Im going out on a limb and picking the JETS to beat the PATRIOTS.
I dont want to pick no-brainers. It might come back to bite me in the a$$, but its more exciting that way!
Besides, I think Mangini is going to have the Jets fired up to win one against his old team. Oh yea, one more thing. Chad Pennington is your week 1, AFC Player of the week. Pats are goin down!!

  21. Oakland will be a safe pick all year, so I'm going to save them for later. Hopefully I did not just put the jinx on it by saying that.

    Seahawks over Cardinals.

  22. I'll go the super-obvious route: Colts over Texans.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Just for purposes of documentation, Alba takes Ravens over Raiders

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ravens over Gayders.

  25. Ravens over the Faiders.

For the record, the honey sweet girls were licked clean by the Gladiator.

How does it taste to you now?

  26. Whoops change the pick.

Realized I cannot pick either team I had going last week.
