Are You Ready?

To do your duty for the Seahawks that is.

The Seattle Times is running a poll regarding who your favorite local team is, so get off your couch, put down your beer (not out of reach though) and click on THIS LINK and vote for the Seahawks. Please show your support for our beloved team.

Sonics were my first, Mariners have always been my love, and the Seahawks are the most interesting right now...

  4. See...this is exactly the kind of BS poll that'll get thrown in Seahawks' fans faces down the road.

You run a poll like this as the basketball team is in the playoffs, and baseball is just getting underway, so EVERYONE still is in the playoff hunt, and nobody is thinking about Football, well, except for a select bunch goofballs on a blog in cyberspace!

I was surprised to see the Seahawks just 5% behind the M's (ADP's vote notwithstanding) and ahead of the Sonics.

However, run this poll in early October when we're 4-0 and you'll get MUCH better results.

Listen to the song "Commitment", you'll like it, especially if you are into Muslim Indian rap.

He actually wore the belt buckle to work once.

  6. I don't get the lack of football support in Seattle..is it because of the colder weather in the fall and winter? The poor track record? The price of tickets? What?!?!?

God I was pissed when a feakin' playoff game needed an extra day to sell out....what the f***!!!!

  7. if we limp into the playoffs again next year we'll need more than an extra day to sell out the game. the problem is that 25 years of mediocrity breeds much apathy in the fan base, and add to thet the fact we haven't WON a playoff game since the Reagan years, and that's what you get!

Hopefully the Ruskell front office and new players on the field will begin to change that around.
