Jump in here to test our new comments forms. They are designed to bypass blogger's registration requirement, so noobs can comment more freely. Comment away! I'll be deleting this later.

Not sure why we need the Email and URL fields. It appears to bring these in as Anonymous posts (which they are I guess) but it does sign them with the Name field.
The Bold, Italic, Link and Quote buttons are Cool.
nevermind, i noticed the new thing now...to be honest...i like the old one better
i like the names of the person who posted to be at the top, not at the bottom of their post...just a preference...
this comment block thingy is alright...ill need to get used to it...but the whole type in your name thing better remember me, because i hate signing into things...i just kept myself logged in since i came here...
its switching back in forth...the first comment i made, was in the old format...the second was in the new...and now its set up like the old one again...im confused
just found this site. i can't believe it! it's all the cool people from the old forum at seattlePI! so i'm bookmarking it. so much seahawk stuff to talk about, and now i have some people to talk about it with! anyway, peace out and all that.
Ummm...what took you so long Brett, I remember you well from the P-I blog site. You are most welcome here man! I'm glad you found this place, it's good to see old names like yours pop up here!!!
Hey guys, Grant Wistrom is going to be on total access tonight, I'll post two links, one at the top and one with this other new feature see if it works.http://www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/daily_sked
Monkey, it took me awhile to find the difference too. Click the View Comments link (not Comment Now) and Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the comments list and you'll find this new Post a Comment form.
Oh I see, if you post a link in the URL it's the same as the one in the link option but it goes to your name cool. It would be cooler if after posting the comment I would go right back to the sreen that offers me those options, but instead I go back to the original blogger comment format.
You'll notice that this just gets the first comment started, then takes you to the old comment form.

The only problem I see is that if you're logged in it doesn't post the comment as "you" but at Anonymous

And it doesn't like Names with spaces in them.

ReplyDeleteADP - You can still use the old Comment entry screen (like I am now) by clicking the COMMENT NOW link.
ReplyDeleteI think I agree with ADP. Although it might be better for newbies. I guess as long as I can still comment the old way, it's all gravy!

ReplyDeletePerhaps I am missing something, what is different?
ReplyDeleteThis isn't so bad.

Okay, so it only shows up with "Anonymous said" on the other post comments screen, but not here. I get it. Check move slow.
