Mili reports to camp at 290 pounds

"Six weeks after signing a $10 million contract, Mili reported to the mandatory portion of the team’s post-draft minicamp at 290 pounds, some 25 pounds above his playing weight. He jiggled through three days of mandatory camp over the weekend before joining Jackson as the only signed offensive starters to skip the voluntary camp."

Hey Jerramy, the door is wide open for you...

  1. I wondered what the reason was that he was missing, I guess now we know. Maybe he was hoping to get moved to tackle.
The sad thing is that this always seems to happen after the athlete gets paid, I mean, I understand relaxing during the offseason, I even understand celebrating the big new pay check, buthonestly, 290lbs? I had really been hoping for more out of Mili!

Sorry Mr. Mili, that door is too small for you, wide open or not. You could try the service entrance around back.

  4. LOL! Exactly Josh from sc, exactly!
I really hope that Stevens makes the best of this opening, the signs I am seeing are pointing to good things from him this year.

  5. Man! A functioning TE could really change us offensively, Mike really likes to use his TEs.

  6. I just don't get pro athletes being out of shape,
it isn't that hard to stay in reasonable shape.
That's why they make the big bucks. He's probably on the Charles Barkley Diet.
