  2. Yeah, there's a guy named Mick at the Times site that basically said, he doesn't stand a chance because you don't see great white HBs. Hows that!

  3. That's the kind of guy I lend no credence to. He's the kind of guy I avoid talking to. 10 years ago he was saying "Well, Warren Moon and Randall Cunningham are anomolies. You'll never see any other great black quarterbacks." idiot.

  4. Yep the same basic discussion is going on elsewhere, I think that it is an interesting topic. I will say this, during the draft, I noticed a trend for scouts and coaches who are propping up a white athlete to continuously refer to them as "athletic" as if being a white person precludes you from having athleticism. Also, the first comment out of Holmies mouth was to say how "athletic" he is, there is some truth to the fact that people get it stuck in their heads that WR, RB, CB are positions filled normally by athletic black athletes, while QB has been the domain of whites. Whether this is right or wrong is really beside the point, that it happens is an interesting thing to notice. Not only is there discrimination but there is reverse discrimination as well.
All I know is that this world is full of people who need to have their heads examined and who need to wake up and examine thier beliefs about race.

  6. Kind of like when a black athlete or politician is discribed as "well spoken"...like Colin Powell is gonna step up to the mike at the UN and say "waz 'sapinin mah brothahs??!"

I went toe-to-toe with the reverse racists on the ST site about this issue.

Watching these clips I've got two suggestions:
    1. let's write that reverse pitch play into our playbooks
    2. let's get Jesse a tanning bed!
