Any of you who have been true blue Seahawks fans for the last 15-20 years knows the story behind this clip. What is the play commonly called? Largent's Revenge?
In any case, It is definitely my favorite Seahawks play of all time.
Do you concur? Or do you have another nominee?
My all time favorite play by far. The story behind the hit just makes it that much more outstanding a play. Harden had taken a cheap shot on Largent the first game they played which had knocked Largent out of the game. Largent remembered! When Harden made a pick, Largent found Harden in what can only be described a the single greatest tackle by an offensive player ever. Not only that, but the hit jarred the ball loose, which was then recovered by none other than Largent himself! AMAZING PLAY!!!
ReplyDeleteNow Bluefoot, you have to tell me where you are finding these pictures at!!!
Look at Curt Warner in the background. He was getting ready to tackle Harden, but seems genuinely surprised to see the safety explode right in front of him!
ReplyDeleteWasn't this on a Monday night? I don't remember. I'm pretty sutre it was a night game, at least.
ReplyDeleteHass to STEVENS???
ReplyDeleteWhy STEVENS???
Hass to Jurivicius is far more likely methinks.
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for Vinny to chime in and say "Hass to Koren!!! yah! woo! go Seahawks!"
ReplyDeleteYep, I was typing the Jurivicius comment very quickly to beat him to the punch. Just picturing the ball thrown into the end zone in the super bowl then realizing that KRob is at the recieving end of the pass gives me the willies! Theres about a 50/50 shot he drops it, at least JJ holds onto it!
ReplyDeleteBlue - were are you finding these animated GIFs? Or are you making them yourself?
ReplyDeleteWay to go NYHF...welcome to the world of adoptive Seahawks parenting!
ReplyDeleteBlue - YES, this is one of my favorite plays of all time! I had posted the full clip on the Draft Summary page to get people psyched pre-Draft.
Oh I am so proud! Welcome to the family Jerramy! We just know you'll like your new father!
