Boulware visits Texans

Boulware visited the Texans yesterday, link in title.

Also a blurb on the PI, bottom of the page.

Doesn't seem to be any new info, other than the visit, just thought you guys would like to know. Results of the physical are not yet known.

Oh, and he doesn't seem to be interested in a third down role, wants to be everydown, which I say is fine, as long as he is healthy.

  1. i wont take Houston serious, as they got rid of two quality LBs to make room for money, and Boulware will probably cost more then they should be willing to offer

i would be shocked if he ended up in Houston...

but great find man, the 'main three' websites arent updating the Seahawks at all, really

  3. Thanks ADP, agree on the news sites. FYI, the TnT insider blog thing usually has some info that may not be on the front page. And since I play FFL (poorly) I look at lots of the other teams news.

Vinny, LOL, I was thinking that would be a pretty good TWM pic too, he looks like he is casually just grabbing him, not really trying. Man I hope we get this guy. boulware. Boulware. BOULWARE!

  4. How about...."Hold on Jeff, I think you dropped something on the ground right there?"

I like that he's not even looking at him, like he's grabbing him on his way to do something else. Not to mention, anytime Garcia gets sacked is a good time. ;D

  5. This from kffl.com

"Nick Schenck, of HoustonTexans.com, reports Houston Texans head coach Dom Capers is pleased with the depth and talent at the team's linebacker position this year. "I like the guys we have there right now," Capers said. "I feel like we have increased our speed and athletic ability. It'll be interesting to watch them develop." The club will have three new starters in their 3-4 defensive scheme, including inside LBs Morlon Greenwood and Kailee Wong along with outside LB Antwan Peek. Only second-year LB Jason Babin returns as a starter at the same position from last season."

  6. Sounds like the Texans won't resort to deperate measures to get PB, that's a good sign.

  7. heres my opinion...

everytime a team like Houston comes along and is mentioned as a suitor for Boulware...they always compare them to Seattle's chances...and ignore the rest

    the same with Cincy

    the same with Cleveland...

when one of those is put in the same sentence as Boulware...Seattle ends up in the next sentence...

that being said...since we're the only team mentioned as competition in the other suitors' papers...we have to be the favorites right now

    Cleveland 2nd

    Cincy 3rd

    then Houston and company

now, which of those 4 teams have the best chance at the super bowl? which of those 4 teams makes family traveling easiest because his brother plays there? which of those teams is going hardest after him?

    those 3 have one answer---Seattle

Boulware is ours to lose...and the only way we would decline to come here is if we didnt offer him enough money or for some reason he doesn't want to play with his brother (rivalry)

then again, it would be nice to have a brother rivalry on the team..."lets see who can get the most tackles"...all of sudden they both play harder, and end up with 180 tackles together...

    nice
