went with Niko...and its not because he is now my favorite LB on the team, you with that one guy gone...BLAHGARGHTRACYWHITEBLEGH...or whatever his name was...
Lofa will definitely be the starter by the end of the season, but after watching camp, I feel Niko has EARNED it...Lofa just isn't ready YET (and i use that loosely, because he is close)
I am pretty sure Lofa has been named the starter. But I think they rotate it alot. I think Niko is better against the run right now, not because of size (negligable anyway), but based on experience and Lofa's "over-enthusiam" to get to the ball, and not stay at home. We'll see.
Until last game I would have gone with Niko, but Lofa finally seperated himself enough last game to ensure that he will be the starter. Having said that, Niko will see plenty of action. Probably a 60/40 split with Lofa
Lofa. Lofa can play the whole width of the field and cover. Niko is a good between the ends run stopper, which worked well in the Big Ten. In the pass happy NFC west, you need someone like Lofa. We'll soon be talking about Niko like we do Kaz--good hustle, great locker room guy, but not a starter.
