Ugly Called...He Wants His Face Back...

Left Guy: Hes speaking in Clayton language in that picture!...Thats right, hes talking out his ass...

Im curious of what everyone thinks of this guy...seriously, im curious to the point that im making a topic about it. He just said that he was 'baffled' by us signing Warrick, and that he thinks it was pointless and ridiculous. We all know this means Warrick is a surefire hall of famer, with a pro bowl year coming

'Im George...im bald and i live with my parents'
'Im Victoria, hi!'

its a surefire strategy when dealing with morons (George Costanza, John Clayton)

seriously, he seems to have nothing but negative things to say about Seattle, and he is the ultimate pessimist...and he is one of the ESPN 'feeders' that tell the world about how bad we are so we never have a chance at getting some respect or at least a sign that people know this team exists. He thinks we will battle SF for the bottom spot. He thinks the Rams are in the top 4 teams in the NFL. Is it at all possible to get him banned? Maybe a protest? Im with Charles Barkley where he said that if you've never played in the league, you need to shut up.

Congratulations Clayton...
You're the modern day George Costanza.
You're biff.

  1. Funny thing hapened yesterday. My younger brother who is a lifelong Cowboys fan (no accounting for taste) called me and said in an excited tone, "Man you must be STOKED UP now that the Hawks have signed Warrick!" I told him that I thought it was an OK signing and he jumped down my throat. "OK!?! Just OK??? No way! This is a terrific signing for you guys, think about what he brings to the punt return game, not to mention the depth he adds to your recieving corps. Now you have a LOADED recieving corps."
His exact words. I bring this up because my brother has played football at a high level and coaches at a smaller level. My brother (still can't understand his love for the Cowgirls) knows more aobut football than I do, than any of my truly knowledgeable friends do, and a helluva lot more than John I look like I fell out of the ugly tree and hit every single branch on the way down CLayton does.
My brother doesn't even like the Seahawks, so I asked him why he was so pumped about the Hawks signing Warrick when I wasn't even that excited. He told me he wasn't happy, he was pissed and jealous because he wanted the Cowgeeks to sign him.
My point in saying all of this is that from the perspectinve of fans from other teams, THEY know that this was a good signing. From the perspective of people who really understand the game (and believe me when I say that my brother REALLY knows the game) the Warrick signing was a coup.
SO stuff that in that ugly slit in that thing you call a face John Clayton and SHUT UP already!

  2. I don't know why anyone would suggest that a potential impact player (if he avoids injury) that you've just acquired practically for free (remember that someone else now gets cut, so the difference in what Warrick makes and what the player who gets cut would've made is really all we pay for Warrick) would be a bad signing. Say he doesn't work out...so what! If he doesn't work out he cost us practically nothing. If he does work out, he gets paid more...but so what! In that case he was an impact player. In summary, Clayton is an idiot and anyone who listens to him or reads what he writes will do nothing but make themselves dumber. Avoid him at all costs.

PS: One could argue that he takes a roster spot from a young WR who could have an impact down the road. My contention is that none of what we have (e.g. Urban, Pathon et al) is worth passing up this guy. I would be a bit dissapointed if Hackett got cut as a result...but only a little. I'm particularly excited about him returning the ball. Anyone remember when a guy named Galloway used to do that? That was fun.

  3. exactly...its not like im saying we have to have Clayton's approval...i just want to know what his problem is...

we know he has a recent history against us, but any idea what started this?

he clearly doesn't know anything about football, and like ESPN in general, he picks favorites

i only watch espn for Boxing now, unless a Seattle team is playing (and admittedly, ill watch tennis if Federer, Nadal, Safin, Hewitt, or Ferrero are playing)

im just sick of it...nothing to do with espn's lack of respect in general...its just that they spread it to a nationwide audience...and right now it seems like this is the only team he has a problem against

  4. I love the mean spirit of this post... You are a fan after my own heart.

I move that we unofficially gloss Clayton as 'Ugly'. That is a perfect nickname. Maybe the wrong thread. I'll post on the other one, too.

  5. Better yet, in the gangster circles, I'm sure he would be called "Uglyface".
