  1. as an overly-optimistic side note, i would like to point out that this addition may put josh scobee's spot in jeopardy, since he was retained i presume for his returning ability more than his prowess as a running back.

so maybe in my perfect little day dream, the new guy has no recurring knee problems and returns opening kickoffs without fumbling and doesn't return punts when they land at the 1 and doesn't lose his shoe when he elects to change direction for the 5th time and we cut skooby to the curb and call urban during his bronco workout and he comes back to the team to be our 4th wideout this weekend and catches a touchdown that saves the team from losing to the stupid cardinals and the newspapers are filled with heartwarming stories of his perseverance, grit and determination that personifies every quality that ruskell ever wanted in a player, and then we win the superbowl and urban shares the mvp award with shawn alexander, and the picture of both of them hugging together with bright, gleaming smiles, and the lombardy trophy is lifted high, and there is hope across the land and even peace in the middle east because hey, if the seahawks can win a superbowl then anything is possible.

  3. Brett....what did my boy Scooby ever do to you??

Are you going to pull off a mask and reveal that you're really Old Man Jenkins? Or worse, Mrs. Doubtfire?

I'd like to see Urban come back too, since I'm a sentimental fool, but I like the idea of more help on defense at this point, especially since Trufant is getting burned more than an Albino in Southbeach!

  5. I was on the .NET forum today and when one of the admins went looking for a pic of the new guy we signed, he found one of him returning a punt for a TD and who should be in the background giving chase? You guessed it...none other than our old pal Collerbone!
