One Final Preseason BFD

There were a lot more candidates for this week's BFD. In the first quarter, Michael Boulware fired into the gap and nailed the Vikings running back with a hit he would remember. Several times Lofa Tatupu collided with the ball carrier with a collision meant to be felt. Joe Tafoya crushed the QB good as well. Overall, I was very pleased with the physical play of the defensive starters. There is a definite 'intent to harm' that has not been there in seasons past. It's exactly what we need to finally turn some heads in this league.

But the outstanding hit this week, IMHO, was performed by the right arm of our very own Leonard Weaver. You probably saw it in the game and cheered like I did. Here is a picture of the aftermath.

So congratulations, Leonard Weaver's Right Arm. You win the BlueFoot Destroyer Award for preseason week four.

Next week this award will mean something! (Whatever that means).
