Alan's D.O.G. at Arizona

Whats not to love about this drive? It takes nearly seven minutes, it scores points, and it probably made Salisbury and Clayton cry.

Which drive am I talking about? Find out here

  1. I was just thinking today, "where's this week's corny bronze race car?"

93 yard drives are awesome, even ones that don't make Clayton and his butt-budy cry, but if it's all the same to you, I also prefer nice long kick and punt returns, and short field scoring drives as well!

And since it's a bone of contention with me, Josh Scobee is a white dude who kicks for the Jag-offs. Josh Scobey, aka 12:30, is a north-and-south runner who returns kicks for the Seahawks.

If you're gonna be a Seahawks fan, you're going to need to learn how to spell funky names correctly!

  2. Not to mention Kootaveetees, Tatoopoo, Juryvishus and Stephens!

  3. OK, I get it...can't spell.

    To add to the fun:

    Mat Haslebach
    Sean Aluxander
    Markus Truefont

Anyway, look for the NFC West Update sometime this evening.

  4. alba has a massive man crush on Scooby. Don't let that stop you from continuing the fantastic roll you are on with your posts...

Regarding long drives... I was thinking, man, how are they managing to do that. I had read that we really were middle of the road for 3rd down %, and we are, 12th right now. But then I looked at the times they've tried... second lowest in the NFL. First in yards per play average. Right now, besides maybe Football Outsiders  (who do Fox power rankings) the NFL.com Stat page is my favorite thing to ponder. Although I gotta agree with alba, short drives are cool too, as are single play drives.

  5. Alan - don't take offense...I was just ribbing you!

JoSCh is right, I do have a man-crush on Scobey, and while we're on the subject, you probably don't want to mention anything about Kelly Herndon getting burned either!

After reading NYHawkFreak's post, I just got carried away with the number of hard to spell or uniquely spelled names on our team, that are frequently butchered by forum posters and professional media guys as well.
