By a show of hands, Seahawk defenders prophetically indicate how many total FG attempts there will be in the final minutes of regulation and OT, as does Feely with the fingers of his left hand.
Further analysis reveals that by raising their RIGHT ARMS, the Seahawks were indicating the number of FGs that would be attempted and MISSED by the Giants, while Craig Terrill raises his LEFT ARM, indicating the number that will be attempted and MADE by the Seahawks.
Up high, Down low, Wide left, Giants let you go... eventually anyway.
That said, that is a great pic showing how tough that job is, can you imagine trying to kick with that coming at you? Goodness gracious, to quote the coach.
In a bold move frought with etheral symbolism, three charter members of the Seattle Seahawks' Happy Hands Club (pictured) will now perform their rendition of Eli's Coming by Three Dog Night:
Eli's comin' Eli's comin' (Eli's a-comin') Well you better hide your heart, your loving heart Eli's a-comin' and the cards say... a broken heart
Eli's comin', hide your heart, girl Eli's comin', hide your heart, girl Girl, Eli's a-comin', you better hide Girl, Eli's a-comin', you better hide Girl, Eli's a-comin', you better hide Girl, Eli's comin', hide your heart, girl (hide it) You better, better hide your heart Eli's comin', better walk
Walk but you'll never get away No, you'll never get away from the burnin' a-heartache...
STADIUM ANNOUNCER: Who is the only NFL Kicker to ever miss THREE attempts at game winning field goals at the end of regulation and in OT?
ReplyDeleteGRANT: Oooh, Oooh, I know this I know this.
BRYCE: Pick me, Pick me, I got this one nailed.
KAZ: C'mon, I went to Harvard, pick me, pick me.
UNIDENTIFIED SEAHAWK IN THE MIDDLE: I never get called on when I know the answer!!!
