AAAAAARRRRRGGHH!!!
First Daryl Jackson goes out with knee surgery, and Bobby Engram misses time and some effectiveness with broken ribs. Then it is revealed that Peter Warrick is feeling the effects of recent knee surgery and a long season, hindering his availability.
And now, this. Mike Sando reports that Jerehme Urban re-injured his broken foot and is on waivers.
It looks like this really is Shaun Alexander's year.
And please stay healthy, J.J.
crappy news...
ReplyDeletethat leaves us with Engram, JJ, and Hackett...
I feel Engram will have a huge game, and the Rams are in trouble because they know our offense will be coming...and they know that they cant stop it...and we know that they know they cant stop it
Our receivers will be fine, though this is a sucky injury
Lets sign Ed McCaffrey!!!
oh yeh...
ReplyDeletesomething tells me he will be back.
Let's not forget the OTHER Jeremey, as in Stevens, who's having a career year.
ReplyDeleteAnd ADP, I'm guessing that you're expecting Urban to be back, not McCaffrey!!
(btw, I agree, I think that's why the Seahawks didn't put him on IR)

sadly, yes, thats what I meant
ReplyDeleteEd McCaffrey used to be my favorite receiver...still one of my all time favs...
I wouldnt mind Urban coming back and playing like him though!

OK, someone has to say it...it's clearly time to sign TO. : )
ReplyDeleteJust kidding.

Urban and McCaffrey are right up there with one of my all time favorites, the ex-Giant Phil McConkey.
ReplyDeleteAnd Bok, you HAD to say it, didn't you??!!
I just hope he doesn't end up with the Rams or Cards.

Why him go to the Rams and Cardinals? He would be the 3rd string receiver if he went to Arizona, and probably the 2nd or 3rd string on St Loser
ReplyDeleteOwens is ridiculously overrated, and if the Rams and Cardinals werent set at receiver, I honestly think they are 2 of the 4 or 5 teams in the league who would actually sign him
St Loser is stupid enough to do it anyways

Owens has all the talent in the world, and unlike a guy like Randy Moss actually plays hard on the field. The ONLY reason teams will stay away from him will be the off-the-field issues, not a lack of ability.

Maybe Ruskell will improve our Jeremy ration and sign Ron Jeramy next, to help with our long-sustained scoring drives! (maybe he could coach special teams as well??!!)
ReplyDeleteThe latest rumor is that the Jets or Donkos might be a good fit for TO.

Donkos, have the need, can get the $$, enjoy collecting turds, I'd bet on them. Shanahan has enough ego to think he can control him. Herm couldn't, shouldn't, and probably wouldn't take him on, too smart (and weak IMO) of a coach.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't object (I know, it won't happen, don't bother, I'm not in the Hawks front office, neither are you) to signing TO to an incentives laden deal, as long as a contingency was written into the contract that he or any representative, agent, family member, analyst (Irvin!), acquaintance, neighbor, friend, former friend, former teammate, current teammate, future teammate, etc, ad nausem... could not comment on anything TO related other than charity events and actual stats contributed in the last game played, and come week 17, cumulative stats.
Think signing the *Hedgehog* would help? Not against the Lambs, they already have the clap.

Hey, you guys forgot a WR (I think, I sort of skimmed), what about Warrick? Holmgren has said "all he does is catch balls.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it time to see what he's got.
Posted by vinnyhawkalugi
we certainly will not pick up TO. Not after Ruskells spent so much time getting rid of the knuckleheads and improving the team. He wouln't add another knucklehead.

hear, hear, Rocky.
ReplyDeleteBTW, Sando said about the same thing on his blog.
