Friday: Getting There
Reposted so you can look for me! Monster Park has rules against signs, so I'm not sure I can bring my "Alba Sez Pay Shaun Now!" sign. I wanted to title this Alba Does Monster, but I didn't want to get Monkey mad at me!!!
I know the Seahawks at 49ers game isn't for another 48 days, but I just pulled the trigger on some endzone seats on StubHub.com and I'm geeked!
I'll be in San Franscisco that week on business, and I have a brother who lives in town so I got a place to crash after the game.
Let's hope our boys continue on a roll all season, including kicking 49-er ass up and down the field at Monster Park!
Just had to throw this in. Have a great time, Alba!

Nice, endzone. Congrats, that one should definitely be fun for you. REPRESENT!!

I forgot to mention that my bro is a photographer so hopefully he'll have some pretty powerful camera equipment and I can get some good game footage.

With all sincerity, I am very, very happy for you Alba. Have you ever been able to go to one before, being all the way in NY?
ReplyDeleteBTW, I had to get my Colts game tickets on ebay because it's already sold out.
ReplyDeleteBeen to a few Seahawks-Pats games in the 80s at Foxboro, and one Jets-Seahawks matchup in the Meadowlands during the Boz years. Saw one Raider game in the old Kingdome but haven't been to Qwest yet. This will be my first time in Monster.
ReplyDelete(again, sorry Monkey!)

That's really sad for monkey - by the time Sunday evening has rolled around, THE WHOLE SEAHAWKS TEAM will have been in Monster, and Matt and Shaun will both scored two or three times apiece!

Have fun at the game!
ReplyDeleteAn in the interest of good karma, I saw this today...

I go to the NASA astronomy pic of the day, well... daily! And that one just seemed absolutly perfect in its timing. Maybe someone at NASA is a Seahawk fan?

ReplyDeleteWhy you givin' credit to NASA -- they didn't align the stars, God did.
Maybe God is a Seahawks fan!
:-)
Maybe Shaun Alexander is GOD??!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pick Bluefoot, that's pretty awesome. Look for an idiot waving a bright green PAY $HAUN NOW poster in the end zone. That will be me.
And MAOMatt, I thought *I* traveled a good distance for my Seahawks fix, but you got be beat by light years buddy!!!

Good thing I'm a founder of this organization and the immediate past president, cuz the current Pres was none too happy about me skipping out of the Board Retreat 90 minutes early. Would you believe he had the audacity to recommend I go to the game LATE??
ReplyDeleteI didn't have the heart to tell him that I'm leaving at 10:30am tomorrow so that I can catch warm-ups!

Why would a penguin walk 70 miles? That just seems dumb, as I expect that there is no difference between the destination and the start point, or any point during the trip. Silly penguins. Oh well, they are fun to watch.
