Check, I'm sorry, but I think your first instinct was right. Holt was a joke. The two missed TDs cost the Rams any hope of winning the game. True, the Rams D-line sucked, but we already knew that. Holt is a perenially Pro Bowler.

Oh, K, you had to find my flaws, didn't you. Oh well. The rev. war reference was a close as I could get to make the mataphor work. But I still consider america on the defensive side, seeing as it wasn't us sailing over to Britain to fight. We were on our home turf, so maybe I should view it as more of a 'home game' than being on the defensive.
