Enough is enough

Are you as sick and tired of the 0-6 record after a bye week story as I am?

I realize every week the media settle on some "angle" for the upcoming game that is tired and stale by game day, but damn it we're in week 2 of this nonsense. By the power invested in me by 12th Street, and the girl in the kiddie pool, I'm reinventing the 0-6 story.
  • With Dyson back, on Sunday I'll be 0-6 in opportunities to curse Hernden for being 10 yards off the receiver.
  • With Warner starting again, he can continue his quest to 0-6 as a starter in AZ.
  • With Bobby back, the Cardinals will be 0-6 in stopping 3rd and 10 conversions.
  • Michael Irvin is 0-6 in making a relevant comment on TV.
  • Denny Green is 0-6 after QB switches...wait, I think that might be true.
  • The Cards will be 0-6 in the red zone Sunday.

  1. I'm laughing while i'm typing about the Qb switch comment. I'm sick of bimg 0-6 too. This is the next curse we need to break, the curse of the bye-week. Michael Irvin making a relevant comment will never happen. When the Seahawks prove him wrong he will probably go into how much better of a reciever he was than jackson or somethin stupid like that. I'm still laughing about the qb switch comment.

  2. Tru-Dat Bok!

Don't hate on my man Herndon though. I'm sure that's not his idea to play so far off the receivers. They defensive coordinator has to be calling those alignments.

But the thing that really pisses me off about this week is missing the ULTIMATE in headlines, which I didn't realize until I went to Seahawks.com of all places, and found this....

    ARE YOU BYE CURIOUS??!!

    CLASSIC!

  4. ""Michael Irvin is 0-6 in making a relevant comment on TV." " Bold faced lie. Irvin is 0-4734 in making relevant comments...

"The Cards will be 0-6 in the red zone Sunday" Another lie, red zone is between the opponents 20 and the goal line, they ain't getting that close. (seriously, if they do, I hear that Rackers guy can kick, given 6 chances from less than 40 he'll hit at least 5... but again, won't have the chance!)

"Denny Green is 0-6 after QB switches...wait, I think that might be true" Yeah, no kidding, I ain't gonna research, but it wouldn't surprise me. Nice post Bo.

  5. I love that the *few* reporters that are thinking positive about the Hawks have adopted my battlecry from the off-season.....how many times have we read the words "Not those Seahawks" or "Not the same old Hawks" ?

I love that there's a chance for teh Hawks to make every media pundit eat their own 'expert' words.

    GO HAWKS!!!!!!

  6. lol I like seeing the SLLOOOWWWW transition of our local reporters from questioning, to skeptical, to resistent, to hesisitent, to a little excited, to a little believing...and now some are getting giddy

even Art Theil is starting to believe a bit...

I think the best thing with the media/Seahawk issue is that we know that they know that we're good...they dont wanna admit it...and its a pleasure knowing that deep down...they know we;'re good...makes me happy
