When we headed into the BYE week, knowing there would be a dark Monday with no Contributor Awards, I thought about suggesting a mid-year review, where we would hand out each of the awards for the best accomplishment of the year so far.
Well, that obviously didn't happen, but as I sat down to write this week's Moonlight Graham Award, it kind of unfolded that way...

Nice one alba, I'll have to agree, I thought Mike did a good job coaching this game, and him letting the boys rest a week was a great call. I'll also begrudgingly say that Denny Green did a pretty good job coaching, the Tardinals O looked pretty decent, I thought they game planned for us well, and just don't have the talent... fortuanately I think that Green is usually about as wacky as Martz, so I don't see them making very big strides, heres to hoping they get 5 more wins, so they don't get too good of a draft position...

"But the story of the day was the TEAM, more specifically, the TEAM stripping yet another hairy-asssed monkey off of its back with a huge win AFTER THE BYE WEEK,"
ReplyDeleteHey hey now! I resemble that remark! And Monster never complains about having a hairy-assed monkey on her back!!
Dude: you're kind of flat, but you're nice and tight
ReplyDeleteChick: hey, get off my back!

You know, another guy you could have given this award to is LeROy Hill who started in place of Lewis and proceeded to kick ass. One sack, five tackles, and to be honest, everytime I see him play, I think that he is way better than Lewis and ought to be named the starter.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. As I said, I didn't watch the game as closely as I usually do, nor did I participate in the GameDay Flooble, so I didn't have a good feel for who really stood out, other than enjoying a great overall Team victory.
