Citizen K Likes This Award

Citizen K spent the afternoon in his basement art/computer studio, as he normally does during Seahawk contests. However, today he was not watching the television. Instead, he was ripping out a wall, passing the carcass through a busted-out window, bagging up the rest of the debris, and loading all of the above materials into a cargo van for transport to the local landfill on the morrow. As a result, he only has Steve Raible's and Warren Moon's subjective opinions of the game's occurrences, plus the box score, to tell him about how the game today went down. Did he get a clear picture of how the Seahawks played? Well, read about it on his awards blog... (Citizen K's awards blog is also featuring a possible new 12 Seahawks Street header; feel free to comment on that as well as Citizen K's missive.)

  1. Technically, Vin, I'm the first to respond, since you dropped your note on the sub-blog!

Very nice work, CitK, and in case the Feds dig up that body you were dismembering, I know a lot of good lawyers.

I can't believe you could scribe such an epic post without even having watched the game.

My apologies for your children apparently being born with Espn-itis, but I understand that there are 53 surgeons working around the clock in the Pacific Northwest to finally cure that aweful disease.

  2. P.S. CitK - remove the bit of code that has the "ENTER URL HERE" line in it, and you'll get rid of that red X mucking up your post.

  3. P.P.S. - CitK - you may want to tell that guy with a broom to take a few steps to his left, and start sweeping down the other coast too. If it weren't for a doink off the upright, we would have swept the NFC East too, not to mention Atlanta and soon to be Tennessee.

  4. Bummer about the kids. If they're so enthrlled with jack and the beanstalk and thats why they like the Giants, remind them that Jack killed the Giant. Then say, Jack's nick name was Joe (Jurevicius) and his middle name was Matt (Hasselbeck) and Shaun (Alexander), and his last name was (Lofa) Tatupu.

Thats right, Jack "Joe" Matt Shaun Tatupu killed Eli the Giant.

  5. Jack "Joe" Matt Shaun Tatupu didn't kill the Giant, he died of natural causes without Jack laying a hand on him at all.

  6. Hysterical! He hasn't dropped any balls since the two he dropped since he was a few months old. That was hysterical.
Your best one yet CitK and that's saying something!

    BTW Alan Great idea!

  7. Too much goodness for one post, fantastic job as always.

My son (4) has been getting conflicting info from his grandfather and has been mentioning the Raiders as one of his favorite teams... I think the only way to counter relatives or media pushing children away from the good guys is through constant positive but honest Seahawk discussions, taking care to point out the inherent decency in the team, the teamwork displayed, and show the results of such behavior. That or just force them to say they like the Seahawks or they'll go to timeout.
