On June 4, 1974, the NFL awarded its 28th franchise to Seattle to play in the 64,984-seat Kingdome.
So that means that our beloved Seahawks celebrated a birthday of sorts this past weekend.
Let's hope they closed their eyes tight and wished really hard while cutting the cake, and maybe all our dreams may be realized this year!
31, man, time to start taking things seriously at work. No more late nights out drinking and drugging with the Bucs and Vikings, thats for sure. Gonna have to stay away from Oaktown and Hotlanta too, gotta take responsiblity, don't need any STDs, not at this point of my life. Maybe start hanging out with some of them guys in the northeast, Pats and Steelers, they seem to have their stuff together.
ReplyDeleteWhew, 31, who would've thought it, huh? But thanks for the birthday wishes, I appreciate it. And yes, I made a wish when I blew out the candles, sorry 'bout that Lambfans.

Thanks for checking in #12!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of STDs...heard on the radio this morning that a stable that trains horses for the Kentucky Derby has had to quarantine 5 of them for...believe it or not...HERPES infections!!!
They're going over the video tap from Churchill downs right now to see if Ron Mexico was in attendance!!!

I wonder if horses are like fighters, no sex before a fight/race. If so, I wanna know which ones Mikey got to, and bet on all the longshots he didn't!

check, LOL, and asking to see a lawyer first. But it seems he was not invited... or maybe just didn't show up cuz he knew nobody would help him out with the keg-stand.

happy birthday, Seahawks
Koren may have well been invited...but he'd just show up late anyway...and everyone knows that you can't eat cake and drink beer!!!

You most certainly can eat cake and drink beer. You pour the beer into a pint glass. Then you dunk your cake in it. Then you eat your cake. Also, you could make an ice cream cake, and float it in your beer for an acoholic float. Then again, beer freezes, so you could also make one of the layers of your ice cream cake out of frozen beer. But then you'd be eating cake and eating beer, not drinking it, so that doesn't count.

thank you check...I stand corrected. It's amazing what you forget when you're out of college over 20 years!
