Seahawks might trade their first pick

According to Mike Sando at the News Tribune, Tim Ruskell has already informed teams that Seattle is willing to consider moving out of the 23rd overall spot, among other possibilities.
Ruskell claims that he is very happy with the fact that the Hawks have multiple picks in the third and fourth rounds, "I like the fact that we have two threes and two fours,” he said. “I think we can get good football players there and history shows you can do that if you do your work."

In regards to whether or not Ruskell thinks that this year we will see alot of manuevering and jockeying ofor position in the draft, Ruskell said, "Because of maybe a disparity in people’s opinions (on players) and guys trying to take care of needs, I think you’ll see more of it this year,” Ruskell said Friday. “I think you’ll see an inordinate amount of moving up and down."

  1. Another second and third for our first anyone? I would! This draft is deep but not top heavy. Alot of very very good players will be taken in the second and third rounds and Ruskell has a very good history with those picks.

  2. You're right check, they didn't mention which direction, in fact Ruskell said that with the extra picks we have he would consider giving up a couple. So why would we give up picks? To move up, not down, so who knows what will happen, but I get the feeling that we aren't going to be standing pat one way or the other.
