Reciever a Possibility at #23?

Seahawks | Receiver a Draft Option - from www.KFFL.com

Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports the Seattle Seahawks could decide to select a wide receiver, even with their first-round pick (No. 23 overall), if one of the top prospects fell to their slot, as the club has concerns about the position because of the uncertain future of WR Koren Robinson.

My take on this; With ten picks this draft, if someone like Mark Clayton were to fall to number 23 it would be foolhardy NOT to take him. Where teams hurt themsleves in the draft is when they reach for need. The Seahawks absolutely do not need to reach this draft because we have so many picks and the draft is deep enough at DE and CB where our biggest needs are.

  1. Up or down, I really get the sense that the Hawks are moving. I just don't think that at #23 either the guy they want most will be there or the guys who gives them the best value, so they will probably move up or down. With the extra picks, not to mention guys they would like to trade like K Rob and Alexander, they will have the flexibility to do either and not lose a step. This might just be the best draft the Hawks have ever had if they do it the right way and if they stick to Ruskell's principles of drafting for character.

    I'm getttin nervous and excited!

  3. What pics? Do you mean do we see our profile pictures on the comment page or just the page where we leave our comment? If that's what you mean, I only see them on the page where I type in my comments, after that I cannot see the picture. Maybe someone should mention that to BLuefoot.
