Garcia to Visit Seahawks

KIRKLAND — The Seahawks are in the running to acquire the services of three-time Pro Bowl quarterback Jeff Garcia, who is scheduled to meet with the team in the next couple of days.

  1. Jeff Garcia just signed in principle, a 5 year deal with the Seahawks, although details of the contract are unknown...zz...huh...huh...

    whoa I dozed off...I just had a NIGHTMARE that Garcia signed with us...

    I really don't mind this deal (as ugly as he is) provided we did not spend too much on him. Otherwise we would have been better off just letting Seneca be the #2 guy. I know that it's important to have a decent #2 guy but the idea of spending money on one when we need defense so badly perturns me a bit. That being said, Garcia will make an excellent backup, he knows the west coast offense and can possibly make Seneca better as well.
    At any rate, I want to see how much he signed for before saying whether or not this was good for us.

  4. Hey it's a good possibility though, we couild use him and it would be ironic to wind up with the guy Dilfer's replacing.
